In order to reduce the environmental impact of the project and to respect the constraints of construction work when schools are occupied, the project consists of a rehabilitation/light wood structure extension. Thick vegetation coupled with infiltration, retention and recuperation devices offer an ideal catchment and treatment for rainwater.
On the ground floor, the extension takes the form of a vegetated layer dotted with patios which bring light to the heart of the spaces. The bioclimatic design of the structure, added to that the choice of highly efficient systems (canadian wells, double-flow mechanical ventilation) with which the BBC level is attained and an energy consumption lower than 80 kWh pe /m² per year.
