Environmental design and HQE and BREEAM certification for this newgeneration tower. This low energy building is naturally ventilated and comes complete with numerous internal gardens. Its environmental design was rewarded in 2012 with a BREEAM Award, best international performance category.

Elioth has been part of the Majunga project from the Preliminary Design stage to manage the environmental issues and prepare for the GREENBUILDING and BREEAM certifications (level Excellent aimed at). Among the studies carried out, the CFD and thermal-dynamic simulations helped not only to understand but to validate a natural ventilation strategy. Particular attention was also paid to the wall surfaces (double skin/simple skin, double/triple glazing) depending on the building’s orientation, taking into account the life cycle of CO2 emissions and the financial aspects.
