Catherine De Wolf is postdoctoral researcher at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The aim of her research with Elioth is to develop a method that goes beyond current existing state of the art in embodied carbon assessment, to also include the evaluation of circular economy principles. She will address the sequestration question and the challenge to assess the environmental impacts of reuse, but also the data used in France and Europe for life cycle assessments. Based on the E+C- label and the upcoming RE2020, she will write a roadmap with suggestions on tools to use towards an impact assessment method that reflects truly environmental practices. To do so, she will collaborate with major researchers, practitioners, data scientists, and innovators in France, including at the Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussées,  Cycle Up and Mobius.
