Abstract accepted for the EuroSun 2020 conference
As part of its R&D activities and the development of IT tools, Elioth submitted an extended abstract of a scientific article to the international conference EuroSun 2020. The paper, entitled “A Flexible GIS-based Computational Framework for the Early Design of District Energy Networks”, presents our simulation tools for district energy networks.
The extended abstract has been accepted by the EuroSun scientific committee and will be presented at the conference in September. An extended conference paper detailing the method and results of a case study will also be published in the conference proceedings.EuroSun is the conference of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES). It is organised this year in collaboration with the Cyprius University of Technology and the University of West Attica and is supported by the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme of the International Energy Agency. Due to the current health crisis, the conference will take place exceptionally online only. The tools will be published on Gitlab in September! We are convinced that the development and promotion of open-source IT tools can contribute to the energy and climate transition.
