Invent, hybridise, test things, get them wrong, start over, improve. More than just a fixture in Elioth’s every mission, the Lab is a state of mind. It embodies a permanent quest, centred on a single goal: build a carbon neutral living environment.

Our methods consist of stepping outside the regulatory framework to better understand the physical reality of the flows of energy, resources and environmental impact. We study approaches that are emerging all over the world to influence the real estate industry and guide it towards a deeper understanding of its impacts and a better ability to display resilience in view of the major challenges of the 21^st century.

What we do: we design digital tools and methods, then we reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of our projects, ton by ton. To promote collective thinking, we provide consultancy services and contribute to research programmes and scientific publications, working closely with the architecture and engineering teaching corps.
